At Hot Dogs we offer one-to-one
training for a number of reasons.
Your dog may be
well behaved but be lacking in some areas and you would like to
address this. For example, say you want a better recall or
stay or, you may just want that individual attention and feel this
would benefit you and your dog more. What ever the reason we can
help.
During the session:
-
You will be
individually assessed and it will be tailored to your personal
needs
-
Homework
sheets will be available to back up any work being done at home
-
The length
will vary depending on your dog’s ability to concentrate and
work with most sessions lasting for about 1 hour
-
We aim to
bring out the best in your handling skills and the very best
from your dog

Special Needs Classes
A class specially designed to help
dogs and their owners to deal with problems associated with lack of
early socialisation with other dogs and/or people.
Careful controlled socialisation takes
place in small friendly groups and aims to provide a total support
system to the owner.
We do give individual help and
advice to all the dogs/clients in these classes.
Programmes are tailored to meet the
requirements of the dog and owner and address problems stemming from
fear. The dog will be carefully habituated to other dogs and
people before being introduced to other dogs. Frustration
techniques will be used to manage the dogs’ emotional state and
aggression where the owner will be taught how to manage their dog’s
behaviour and prevent their problem from getting worse.

help you and your dog on 01353 723258.
