About Us
Hotdogs training is run by Wendy Lunn a qualified and accredited
member of the Association of Pet Dog
Trainers, and a qualified member of the
Animal Care College
in animal behaviour and psychology.
Our policy is to train in small class sizes so that
dogs and handlers are given every opportunity to get the most out of
each session. The emphasis is very much on socialising dogs with
others and demonstrating that training and living with your dog is
fun.
Our training technique is based on the use of
gentle, motivational methods. These methods are enjoyable to use and
also enjoyed by the dog, with very high levels of success.
Our trainers and assistants are covered by
professional indemnity insurance, thus accepting responsibility for
what they teach and providing the owner with protection. Veterinary
Practices can therefore refer their clients with confidence.
All trainers regularly attend workshops - to view the trainers
qualifications click on the trainers name.
The Team
The hotdogs team is vastly experienced and comprises
of 3 qualified trainers.

understanding of training and the way not only dogs learn but
also their owners.
Her interest in gun dogs has been a great asset to our dog
school, she owns two Labradors, both of which are trained to an
excellent standard.
Penny also has a special interest in the special needs classes
and has assisted in these constantly for the last two years.
Penny continues to expand her knowledge by attending courses on

Expertly assisted by:
-
Debbie Turner
Debbie has been a member of the team
for the last 13 years and although never wanting to be out there
in the middle of the hall instructing she has a huge knowledge
of training and is always there to give that extra hand.
Debbie’s first love is her boys Harley and Mason, two elderly
boxers to which she trained to a very high standard.
-
Becky Glover
Becky is the youngest member of our
team but do not be fooled by that. She has trained her own dog
Harvey, a golden retriever to a
very high standard that would make the best sit up and look! She
shows a natural understanding of dogs and has been a great help
to the team. She is training for her membership to the APDT.
-
Kathryn Wright
Kathryn first came to Hotdogs to train her boxer Willem.
Kathryn has trained Willem to a very good standard and has
quickly learnt that training your dog is fun. Under our guidance
she will hopefully complete and take her APDT assessment. With
her quiet approach and gentle manner she is an asset to our
team.
